Vectrus provides a wide range of customized environmental programs for our customers that address areas such as environmental education, energy and natural resource conservation, reduction of hazardous chemicals and recycling.
Our operations are regularly evaluated for opportunities to minimize environmental impact, and we emphasize regulatory compliance and an internal accountability framework to ensure success. Our teams continually review our processes and strive to reduce resource consumption and eliminate potential hazards and exposures. Where potential impacts remain, appropriate control technologies and procedures are implemented and maintained.

Environment, Safety, and Health Management System (ESHMS)
The Vectrus ESHMS is deployed throughout our company to ensure we work toward the highest levels of performance and is intended to facilitate active involvement by all employees. Our ESHMS was developed by an internal team supported by external experts using ANSI Z10, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 as reference standards. It has been externally validated as part of conformity assessments by accredited registrars at many of our sites. We manage our ESHMS using our team of ESH professionals and internally developed “EZtools” that enable any employee to be an ESH leader. We hold our leadership accountable for ESH performance and regularly review program status with senior management and our Board of Directors.
Vector to ZERO
Vector to Zero represents our course heading to an incident-free workplace. Vectrus leaders and employees at all levels are empowered and expected to make safety practices and environmental stewardship part of their daily work routine. If employees see something that is unsafe, they make it safe, and then report it and are rewarded for doing so. This is creating a strong safety culture that reduces incident and injury rates throughout the organization.
In August 2015, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) presented the gold achievement award to the Vectrus headquarters-based safety operation for individual occupational health and safety performance in 2015. Vectrus also holds ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications in Germany.
