Vectrus achieves CMMI® and ISO Re-Certifications in IT

Colorado Springs Monday, July 11, 2016

Vectrus Systems Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vectrus, Inc. (NYSE: VEC), has successfully completed the Standard Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) Appraisal Method for Process Improvement, Class A Appraisal for Development at Maturity Level 3 (CMMI®-DEV V1.3 ML3). In addition, Vectrus, Inc., also successfully underwent an ISO 20000-1:2011 surveillance assessment where IT service management systems processes were reviewed for compliance and effectiveness.

“This CMMI® appraisal is a testament to the company’s continued commitment to the expansion of our IT & network communication market share,” said Chico Moline, corporate vice president for IT & network communication services.  “The ISO recertification also demonstrates that we take compliance and customer satisfaction seriously and are delivering results at a “defined” level where processes are well characterized and understood.”

Moline is leading the company’s pursuit of additional business in the IT & Network market space, something Vectrus announced in February 2016, as it opened an office in Reston, Va., to serve as the company’s IT & Network Communication operations center.
